Hi, I’m Rachel – welcome to my website!
Amongst other things I love to travel and take photos. I also love to 'play around' on my computer creating things. This now takes up more of my time than either traveling or taking photos. Over the last decade I've developed a passion for design which I've applied to my own businesses and the several start-ups I've been involved in. I love to take people’s visions and work with them for it to become a reality.
Who am I? Well, I was born in New Zealand and moved to Australia on my own at 19 years of age where I immersed myself in corporate life. At 27, I headed off on another solo mission and travelled the globe for almost a year.
After my travels I returned to Australia once again and discovered that the corporate world no longer appealed to me. I had been exposed to all sorts of interesting things on my travels and I longed for creativity and helping others, so I decided to honour my passion of problem solving in a more holistic way. That led me to study Remedial Massage. I realised that not only did I love it, but I was soon helping my clients achieve much-needed relief from their injuries.
When I was 30 years old, I moved to Singapore with my husband, where our eldest child was born. We returned to Australia for several years, had two more children, then relocated to South Korea for 3 years. Even though I'd been creating websites for a number of years, for both my own Remedial Massage business & for friends, it was in Korea that I started doing more design work in volunteer roles which has since led to paid work.
In 2016, our family of 5 moved to Penang, Malaysia. Then in early 2020 we relocated to Houston, Texas in the United States. Exploring new countries and cultures is something we love to do as a family, and as my husband is wonderful at what he does, we have the opportunity to do just that.
